PS3 WMP11 Tutorial

Step 1.
Open WMP11 and go to Tools>Options then click on the Library tab. Then click on configure sharing.


















TURN ON THE PS3.
Step 2.
When this pops up click share my media then, OK.








Step 3.
The PS3 should be auto detected as Unknown Device.
Click on Allow then Apply.











Step 4.
On the PS3, Go to Scan for media servers, after a short while your computer should appear.














Step 5.
Browse to the file you want to open and the PS3 will do it.

PS3 Nero MediaHome Tutorial

Step 1.First get a copy of Nero Media Home (Comes with Nero7 Ultra Edition).

Step 2.Make sure there is a connection between the PS3 and the computer you want to stream from.

Step 3.Install and open Nero MediaHome. Once open a screen like this should appear.
Step 4.
Click on add share and browse to the folder with the media you want to stream. It should then look something like this.
Step 5.
Turn on your PS3, then enable media server through the XMB.


Step 6.
Whenever your ready click on start server in Nero MediaHome. The PS3 should register this server immediately. If it doesn't select search for media servers.Step 7.
Once the server appears it should look something along the lines of this.Step 8.
Browse to the whatever file you are trying to open.



Step 9.
The file should start playing and Nero MediaHome will show the stats of the server.
